This is thanks to their extensive supplier networks, their innovative cutting-edge technology and their subject matter expertise in sustainability and biodegradable marketing materials. This fantastic role has emerged as their client portfolio has expanded and they are in need of more strategic, commercial and operational expertise in the DACH and wider European region.
The Senior Account Manager is required to support and lead a prestigious brand partner in the Fashion and Retail sector across the DACH and wider European regions. The main part of the role will be assisting the Unit Director with people management and the strategic, commercial, financial and operational lead over the relationship of this multi-million Euro partnership. Besides giving the partner an extra senior contact (yourself), you will lead multi-channel retail marketing and in-store campaigns which might include service and solutions lines such as: POS / POP materials, Print and Visual Merchandise, Multi-Material Display Units, loyalty programs, creative services / studio work, retail architecture and many other additional service lines and associated solutions. You will have junior and middle-weight colleagues in support for operational and administrative tasks so you can focus more on the commercial and strategic side.
The Required Skills and Experience
As the Senior Account Manager, you will have extensive experience in marketing execution, marketing procurement and / or creative production. A connection with any of the following categories is desired: POS / POP materials, Print and Visual Merchandise, multi-material Display Units, loyalty programs, creative services / studio work, retail architecture. A connection to FMCG, Retail or Fashion is essential as well, including understanding the parameters and trends of the industry. Finally, and most importantly, it’s essential to have previous experience with managing multi-million Euro partnerships and ideally have experience coaching and mentoring small teams. The key to success here is the combination of finding the balance between passion for operational excellence and passion for creativity. An eco-minded individual will fit in very well in this role.
