A next-level-opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Account Manager to join a hugely successful and international marketing & packaging business. As a leader in marketing outsourcing, packaging and creative production, they add huge value to many international A-brand clients within many sectors especially in Retail and FMCG. This is thanks to their extensive supplier networks, their innovative cutting-edge technology and their subject matter expertise in sustainability within marketing materials and packaging. This fantastic role has emerged as one of their largest FMCG partners continues to expand its portfolio and more strategic, commercial and operational expertise is needed in France and the wider (South) European regions. The leadership potential is key as this person will be doing some deputy account director duties and be next in line to be the account directors’ successor.
The Senior Account Manager is required to support and lead a prestigious brand partnership in FMCG and the Retail sectors across France and the wider (South) European regions. The main part of the role will be assisting the Director with people management and the strategic, commercial, financial and operational lead over the relationship of this multi-million Euro partnership. Besides giving the partner an extra senior contact (yourself), you will lead multi-channel marketing and packaging solutions making experience in (food) packaging, prepress, studio, repro etc categories highly desirable. You will have junior and middle-weight colleagues in support for operational and administrative tasks so you can focus more on the commercial and strategic side. Reporting and analytical analysis will be part of this role making a passion / affinity for numbers / excel / spreadsheets and various similar programs essential.
The Required Skills and Experience
As the Senior Account Manager, you will ideally have extensive experience in marketing execution, marketing procurement and / or creative production, (food) packaging, prepress, studio, repro etc categories. Leadership potential is key as is having experience in taking the strategic, commercial and operational lead over a partnership. Most importantly, it’s essential to have previous experience with managing multi-million Euro partnerships and ideally have experience coaching and mentoring small teams. Even better if you have done this for global FMCG / Retail brands as you will feel very home from the first moment. The key to success here is the combination of finding the balance between passion for operational excellence and commercial growth. An eco-minded individual will fit in very well too as will someone with leadership potential.
In return for your skills and expertise as Senior Account Manager, you will be offered a competitive salary based on experience but guideline is 55 000 – 60 000 Euros/ annum.
