A leading Print & Tech firm is looking for a Sales Specialist – Industrial Signage. This role is a home office role and can be based anywhere in Belgium. Neighbouring countries like Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Netherlands could be alternatives too. The aim is to join the company and play a leading role in expanding specialist products and solutions sales within the industrial signage world. It’s still a younger area but they desire to expand here and someone with know how in signage, retail, POS etc can make a real difference. Products and solution can range from the smallest label printers to supporting the largest signage projects. You will clients and partner to the next level and act as THE subject matter expert and advisor for colleagues. The Sales Specialist – Industrial Signage, you will be responsible for pushing and supporting client and partners within the retail, POS, signage world. The DACH region and perhaps the Benelux region will be your areas of focus. Growing and liaising with existing accounts at top C-level (being their senior face) and injecting specialist subject matter expertise teams and colleagues is essential. This includes generating leads, planning meetings, consulting on specialist projects and tenders and reporting to senior EMEA management on growth and strategy within your division. This role will be a mix between making the sales happen yourself but also coaching others to increase their sales performance and expertise within the sector.
The Required Skills and Experience
To be successful as the Sales Specialist – Industrial Signage, you will need to first and foremost be a natural skilled commercial professional with a hunger for hunting new business opportunities and the confidence to champions others. Secondly, be an industry expert and passionate and proud about your field of expertise (POS, retail, signage, etc). You will have entrepreneurial qualities, an affinity with IT and an understanding of niche fields within the industry: label printers, large format printing, signage etc to name a few examples. A background in B2B channel sales and end-user business model and experience of developing teams across borders within a matrix structure is key. A valid driving licence and fluency in both German and English is a given. Other languages like Dutch, French or Italian can be a plus.
In return for your skills and experience as Sales Specialist – Industrial Signage, you will be offered an attractive salary (guideline is 50 000 Euros plus bonus / variable part + tools (like a company car).
