A senior level opportunity has arisen for a Head of Operations to join a hugely successful, multinational outsourcer of various retail and marketing solutions. They have become the “go to” partner for many successful brands by providing subject matter expertise in print, promotional management and creative production, enabling the brands to concentrate on their core business. The company has experienced massive growth, both organically and by acquisition, in the last couple of years and are now looking for an experienced Head of Operations to manage a team of 20.
As the Head of Operations in the Centre of Excellence, you will be fully responsible for providing strategic leadership and developing a multi-skilled and high performing function that delivers innovative marketing solutions to clients. To be effective in the role, you will work closely with Divisional Account Directors to provide an off-site solution that meets or exceeds the client’s expectations, while driving expected revenue targets and margin. It will also be important to maintain control of expenditure against a collective budget, while working with the operational teams to identify opportunities to centralise activities for maximum cost savings and benefits.
Required skills and experience
As the Head of Operations, you will have extensive management experience within the Marketing Services, Creative Services or Print Management industry. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, sales skills and a strong industry knowledge which you will use to identify and influence cross-selling opportunities for your team. You will be confident to manage large meetings, client presentations and support the implementation of new contract wins by setting the highest standards of performance for yourself and your team. Strong analytical, written and presenting skills will also be necessary, as well as the ability to problem solve and innovate with client satisfaction at the forefront at all times. You will be expected to implement relevant legislation, professional standards and ethics for the position, including familiarising yourself with various health and safety requirements that apply to your role, team and company generally.
