A next-level-opportunity has arisen for a talented Account Manager – Promotional Items to join a hugely successful and multinational outsourcer of various retail and marketing solutions. As a leader within marketing outsourcing an marketing procurement, they manage to successfully deliver on large scale contracts with international A-brand clients thanks to their extensive supplier networks, their innovative cutting-edge technology and the fantastic subject matter expertise their workforce. In this role the core focus will be on organisation of strategy and operations for projects, procurement and production of specifically promotional items for international FMCG brand partners. This fantastic role will form an integral part of UK and EMEA management team. The Promotional Items division is relatively young, so there are plenty of chances to put your stamp on it.
The Account Manager – Promotional Items you will be accountable for all Promotional Item related matters for your designated FMCG brand partners. This will include managing the strategy, operational aspects , the various stakeholders including the team, the client contacts and suppliers but also the KPIs, the SLAs the procurement and production of promotional items (EMEA and Asia wide). This will also include analytically improving processes and passionately seeking for innovation and ecological improvements within service offerings. You will be responsible for service delivery, operational success of the team and accounts. You will quickly develop an understanding of your account and their workflows and become their trusted partner when it comes to consulting on promotional items / gifts / merchandise / projects.
The Required Skills and Experience
As Account Manager – Promotional Items you will have extensive experience in marketing execution and / or procurement. Specifically in the area of promotional items – sometimes also called: promotional gifts / promotional merchandise / give-aways / freebies / gadgets etc. A background within a marketing agency, creative agency, print management company, retail marketing firm, BPO /or managed services firms linked to marketing services and solutions might fit best. Ideally someone who has managed A-brand accounts. Links to the FMCG sector will be very beneficial. If you have experience Beverage brands would be preferable. Of course, someone who has links with strategical, operational and project management elements.
