Our Administration Team provide invaluable administrative support to ASG’s Consultants and Directors.
For an Administrator, responsibilities include updating/inputting information onto the database and creating a range of business correspondence as well as advertising new vacancies on selected job boards while providing general office support. This role is integral to the day to day smooth running of the business so making sure we have the right people on board is essential!
The ideal ASG Administrator is hardworking and eager to learn, experienced with MS Office (word, excel, etc) and has excellent organisational skills. Good time keeping and the ability to prioritise tasks are a must in this fast paced industry and you’ll be expected to have excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
Recruitment Resourcers are an essential part of the team. They proactively support the consultants to find the best candidates.
As an ASG Resourcer you will carry out online candidate searches using your skills and training to pin point the most relevant people whose experience match perfectly with the requirements of our clients. You’ll actively seek to network within the industry, making friends and building relationships at all levels to ensure you’re the go-to contact for job searching. You will be given regular assessments and set performance related targets to ensure you have every opportunity to benefit from our excellent bonus structure.
You will be confident speaking to junior and mid level candidates just as easily as you will with senior and executive professionals. That means you have to be a clear and engaging communicator, both verbally and in writing. It’s essential that you have the ambition to achieve, passion for your work and the desire to make money!
You’ll need to be highly organised and adept at prioritising tasks as you will be focusing on numerous roles each day. Ideally, you will have prior experience either as a Resourcer, or in a telesales or telemarketing position but the right attitude, confidence and a real drive to succeed matched with our expert training is more than enough for the right person to excel!
Business Development Managers
A Business Development Manager drives new business opportunities every day, managing the whole process from initial prospect right through to closing the deal. To really achieve (and make the most of our fantastic bonus structure) you will develop and maintain and in depth knowledge of your specialist industry, be that Marketing, Creative Services, eCommerce, IT or Print and Packaging. You will need to do your homework to keep up with industry changes and events as well as upcoming growth and projects to be sure you are ever ready to swoop in and save the day by offering perfectly timed recruitment solutions.
You’ll be expected to build and maintain a relevant prospect list to ensure real sustainability of your pipeline so you can not only meet your agreed targets, but absolutely smash them! It is really important that you are organised, professional and have that ‘spark’ that makes you memorable for all the right reasons. You will need to be driven, proactive and keen to come up with innovative new ways to contact businesses and get our name out there.
The best Business Development Managers are bold, confident, a bit cheeky, with a good attitude and the ability make friends wherever they go. A spectacular telephone manner is a must and your charm has to translate through to the real world for the days when we unleash you on industry professionals ‘out there’.
A Business Development Manager will ideally have strong sales experience, preferably B2B or even in a Recruitment environment but the right person with a good attitude and a drive to succeed is all it takes.- Our world-class training will do the rest!
Working as a Recruitment Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for placing talented professionals in a wide range of roles. To do that, you’ll need to win new business opportunities by either marketing exceptional candidates or by obtaining retained opportunities requiring ‘search’ (headhunting) services. Each stage of the process demands an organised and methodical approach in order to stay on top of your administration and to manage multiple projects. In addition, you will be expected to manage a database, write job adverts and pitches, edit CVs, write and deliver presentations, attend client visits and more!
A successful Recruiter has to be an ambitious, money hungry, bold and intelligent individual eager to earn significant bonuses! You must be confident in communicating to a very high standard in both written and verbal form, while also possessing strong IT and administrative skills. Attitude is most important so you will be driven, self motivated and energetic but above all, tenacious and positive. You will need to be passionate in your chosen field and, if you are not already, be ready to become an expert in your industry.
It goes without saying that someone with a knowledge of Marketing, IT, Print & Packaging, eCommerce, Creative Services or a history in Recruitment or Business (B2B) Sales would be of great interest but the right attitude teamed with our training and guidance can come together to create the ultimate Recruiter!
