An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Trainer to join a leading international Print firm. This company has prestigious partner and end-user clients all across the globe. You will use your skills and experience to offer high levels of technical training at regional level across various teams. You will be heavily involved in the implementation, deployment and continuous monitoring of training schemes and training material. As the Technical Trainer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective and efficient training schemes and training materials for various technological print solutions for mainly the German/DACH market but also with some European scope. It will be essential to be an excellent communicator and become a central point for colleagues to come to as the ‘go to expert’. Using your methodical thinking and technical print expertise, you will be instrumental to push the service levels of all employees and team forward. Being up to date with industry best practice (techniques, efficiency, output, productivity etc) is key. Some travel flexibly is needed as well (for example 1 or 2 trips to other continents per year to attend global trainings or trade shows yourself to remain ahead of the field).
The Required Skills and Experience
To be successful as the Technical Trainer, you will need relevant experience from within Print. General technical knowledge of Print Hardware, Software, Services and Consumables is a must. Any print background can be a bonus especially in complex areas like graphic arts or Large Format printing. An interest in 3D printing and the future of the sector is a bonus. A background or education in engineering and a keen eye for detail is required as is previous experience in technical support or technical training tole. Some flexibility eg to travel to Asia or America once a year is required as well. n and technical repairs roles. Excellent communication skills and full business proficiency in German and English is mandatory.
