The Senior Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for pushing and supporting a team to gain new business from channel clients that are mainly based in the DACH and Benelux regions. Growing and liaising with existing accounts at top level (being their senior face) and especially acquiring new partners within the direct but mainly indirect business model is key. Ensuring your team generates leads, plans meetings, meets new clients and reports back to you and wider EMEA management is all essential. Flexible home-office arrangements are possible and travel to key clients and prospects and direct reports will be required as you see necessary. The DACH market is a prospect rich area waiting for the right ambitious individual to develop and claim it for their own.
The Required Skills and Experience
To be successful as the Senior Channel Sales Manager, you will need to first and foremost be a natural seasoned leader but also have hunger for hunting new business opportunities and the confidence to close deals with clients. You will have entrepreneurial qualities, an affinity with IT and an understanding of Print equipment, Hardware (Printers) and Software is a must. A background in MPS or DMs would be ideal. It is essential that you have knowledge of B2B channel sales business model and experience of winning deals with distributors, re-sellers and whole-sellers and developing teams across borders. The Senior Channel Sales Manager will hold a valid driving licence and be able to travel where needed. You must be fluent in German and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
