You will be responsible for consulting on the largest bid processes with mainly end-users but also major channel partners. The emphasis will be on Total Printing / Managed Services solutions including Software, Hardware and valued added services. As the Pre-Sales Business Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting with all stakeholders in regards to significant French and South European deals. You will ensure the negotiations and quotations for key contracts are managed to perfection and translate complex, technical problems into commercial solutions from the firm’s portfolio. Managing the pre-sales cycle from start to finish and remaining the expert specialist contact throughout the process for the print/IT related solutions will be essential to your role.
The Required Skills and Experience
To be successful as the Pre-Sales Business Consultant, you will need knowledge of the presales cycle within the B2B IT sector. Knowledge of complex IT (preferably print / managed services) solutions including value added services, associated Software and Hardware systems. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to switch between commercial awareness and stakeholder management. You will have the ability to explain complex technical demonstrations in layman’s terms. You must be fluent in French as well as being able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Once successfully established, you may be given further responsibilities within South Europe and therefore, Spanish language skills would be advantageous.
