A leading Information and Technology firm is looking for an E-Commerce Sales Manager based in the DACH area to play a leading role in managing and expanding the sales coverage in this region for the E-Commerce partners. You will manage the current portfolio contacts up to C-level & grow their market share by focusing on winning new clients. This company has high profile international direct and indirect clients in the areas of: Print and Document Management Solutions and IT equipment and HW sales. The E-Commerce Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing existing alliances as they will be for gaining new business from clients. In addition to E-Commerce sales management, Business Mail-order management and marketing will be additional priorities. Planning meetings, to meet existing and new clients, developing strategic plans to achieve joint partner goals and reporting on progress are all part of the job. You will report to the DACH and EMEA level management. Flexible home-office arrangements are possible and travel to key clients and prospects will be required as you see necessary. The DACH region is a prospect rich area waiting for the right ambitious individual to develop and claim it for their own.
The Required Skills and Experience
To be successful as the E-Commerce Sales Manager, you will need a passion for closing deals with partners and managing key accounts in a strategic manner. You will have entrepreneurial qualities, and rich experience with E-Commerce and an understanding of the ecosystem of this market. Ideally, you will also have affinity towards the IT sector and knowledge of HW/SW or IT managed Service sales. The E-Commerce Sales Manager will hold a valid driving licence and be able to travel where needed. You must be fluent in German and able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Knowledge of any other languages would be beneficial.
In return for your skills and experience as E-Commerce Sales Manager, you will be offered an attractive total salary package (including a variable part) of: CHF 120 000. Communication tools (phone, laptop etc.), travel and other costs related to the role will be looked after by the company.
