The company is seeking an Account Director to join at an exciting time with a key client in Birmingham.

The Role

 The Account Director will provide excellent and proactive service to a new client within the business which represents a true global name. You will be working with this high-priority client, creatively delivering excellence against the whole service offering including Campaign Management, Data and Creative Services. You will be the go-to person on this account; managing the relationship and taking responsibility for the P&L budget while ensuring budgeted contribution for all services, the company will rely on you to provide leadership, and deliver operational excellence. Your work will be pivotal to the future strategic growth of the account, based on-site in Birmigham.

The Required Skills and Experience

It goes without saying that an Account Director will be tenacious, driven, confident and professional but the successful candidate will also have an expert understanding of Direct Mail, Transactional and POS service lines. You will understand how to deal with prestigious projects within the Finance and Insurance and understand how to work within a regulated environment. You will possess a proven track record in Clients Services with a good understanding of MIS and CRM

To be successful as the Account Director, you must have experience of finding effective solutions for client requirements. You will have strong account management experience and be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and managing the account managers and executives.  You will be working on multiple projects, so strong organisation and time management is a must.  You will have a history of managing supplier relationships and operational management.

The Offering
